Job summary

Smashburger is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations of both front-of-house and back-of-house teams. You will promote a positive work environment, manage training, and ensure that service standards and safety policies are followed on every shift.

You will lead scheduling, performance coaching, and guest experience initiatives while maintaining high quality food preparation and timely service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Ability to train and develop staff using company processes and tools.
• Strong communication and guest service focus.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, inventory, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance of FOH and BOH staff.
• Foster a fun, positive work environment.
• Lead people-focused processes and systems.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing training to new employees.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and cash policies.
• Monitor labor, COGS, and quality standards.
• Support guest experience metrics and service standards.
• Communicate Smashburger training and expectations to the team.
