Job summary

Smashburger is seeking a Shift Leader to champion better burgers and lead restaurant teams. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you will supervise front- and back-of-house staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold food safety standards during each shift.

You will train employees using SmashConnect and LMS, manage daily labor and cash policies, and drive a positive, high-energy work environment with a focus on performance and growth opportunities for team members.

• Proven people-management and leadership ability.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of both FOH & BOH employees
• Promote a fun and positive work environment
• Train employees using SmashConnect LMS and 4 step method of training
• Reward and recognizes employee performance that exceeds company standards
• Manage daily labor
• Complete daily operation checklists and line/uniform standards
• Maintain food safety standards and health dept compliance
• Lead onboarding and training for new employees
• Follow COGS management procedures for food ordering and inventory
• Follow company cash policies to minimize losses
• Ensure guest experience metrics (NPS/OSAT) are met
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
