Job summary

Smashburger NYC is hiring Shift Leaders to champion better burgers. You will manage the performance of front-of-house and back-of-house teams, foster a fun, positive work environment, and ensure daily operations run smoothly.

You will train staff using SmashConnect, LMS, and our four-step training method, monitor guest experience metrics, food safety, and compliance while following company policies and upholding high standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of both FOH & BOH employees
• Promote a fun and positive work environment
• Manage the effectiveness of people focused processes and systems
• Provide initial and ongoing training to all employees within the unit utilizing SmashConnect, LMS, and 4 step method of training
• Reward and recognizes employee performance that exceeds company standards
• Manage daily labor
• Follow COGS management procedures for food ordering and inventory
• Follow company cash policies to ensure minimal losses through theft or shortages
• Ensure guest experience metrics are tracked and improved
• Exemplify guest service and communicate SIZZLE service standards to the employees
