El Pollo Loco in Los Angeles is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee team members when the General Manager or Assistant Manager is absent. You will coach, direct, recognize outstanding behavior, and set priorities for your shift.

Training on policies and food safety will be provided, ensuring compliance with standards and a superior guest experience. You will also open/close the restaurant, supporting achievement of cost and profit goals and contributing to a high-energy, customer-centric team

Qualifications

• Must have basic math, computer skills and strong customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Team Members in the absence of GM/ASM.
• Coach, direct, recognize performance and set shift priorities.
• Train Team Members on policies and food safety standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant and ensure guest satisfaction.
