Job summary

Vitality Bowls Florida is seeking a shift supervisor to lead the team, ensure accurate food preparation, and deliver timely service to guests. You will manage daily duties, handle cash and POS, supervise staff, train new hires, and keep the dining and lobby areas clean and welcoming.

The role requires food safety knowledge, strong communication, and a positive attitude; leadership is essential to maintain standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Become food certified
• Must be able to stand for long periods, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly and have a sense of urgency
• Operate the POS system and handle cash and cards
• Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and work appropriate personal appearance
• Come to work with a positive attitude, and is willing to work well with others

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to prepare food accurately and deliver it to customers in a timely manner
• Manage shifts and delegate tasks
• Provide excellent customer service and handle upset customers politely
• Accept deliveries and issue refunds when needed
• Communicate inventory status and availability with managers/owners
• Check and manage cash at start/end of day
• Restock the register and ensure correct change
• Train and evaluate staff, assist with interviews
• Memorize training material and explain health benefits of ingredients
• Keep lobby and outside areas clean and presentable
• Assist and ring up guests, answer calls and take orders
• Follow recipes and maintain sanitary food prep
• Stock and rotate food, follow safety procedures
• Work as a team and communicate effectively
