Job summary

Vitality Bowls Florida is seeking a capable manager to oversee daily operations at our Orlando location. You will lead staff, supervise shifts, train personnel, and ensure accurate food preparation and timely service.

You’ll manage inventory, handle deposits, and maintain strong customer relations while upholding health and safety standards. The role requires hands-on leadership, flexibility, and a commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Become food certified.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly and have a sense of urgency.
• Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements.
• Must be able to handle a basic computer, POS system; handling cash and credit cards.

Responsibilities

• Act as manager when manager is unavailable and lead the team.
• In charge of shifts and delegating tasks.
• Restock the register nightly for the correct change and manage petty cash.
• Take deposits to the bank several times a week and maintain accurate cash counts.
• Assist with managing inventory and placing orders.
• Lead the schedule creation and collect information from employees about issues.
• Ensure food is made accurately and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
• Provide exemplary customer service and handle upset customers politely.
• Accept deliveries and verify completeness, issuing refunds if needed.
• Communicate inventory status with managers/owners (arrivals, shortages).
• Discuss employee performance and scheduling needs with managers/owners.
• Manage break schedules and ensure timely arrivals.
• Attend Management Meetings and share ideas to improve efficiency and safety.
• Assist with interviews, evaluations, and training; memorize training material.
• Maintain clean front lobby and outside area; provide accurate wait times.
• Assist and ring up guests, answer phone calls and take orders over the phone.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of food and recipes; follow recipes and prepare items sanitary.
• Prep food according to procedures and keep kitchen and lobby clean.
• Put away deliveries and keep everything organized; wash dishes and stock.
• Communicate with staff to ensure orders are accurate and timely; carry out food to customers.
