Vitality Bowls in Rocky River, OH is seeking a diligent Shift Manager to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure outstanding customer service during busy hours.

You will manage opening/closing duties, handle inventory, cash handling, and coordinate with the owner/management to maintain safe, clean, and friendly storefront.

Qualifications

• Must be food certified.
• Experience using a POS system and handling cash/credit.
• Able to stand for long periods and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• In charge of shifts and delegating tasks.
• Show exemplary knowledge and customer service.
• Deal with upset customers politely to ensure satisfaction.
• Accept deliveries.
• Monitor inventory and communicate with managers about status.
• Check daily petty cash.
• Manage break schedules.
• Attend management meetings.
• Assist with interviews, evaluations, and training.
• Maintain front lobby and outside area.
• Answer phones and take orders over the phone.
• Prep food according to proper procedures.
• Continuously and thoroughly clean the kitchen and lobby.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure timely orders.
• Communicate with managers about the schedule.
• Complete opening and closing duties.
• Handle additional tasks requested by manager.
