Job summary

Vitality Bowls Rocky River is seeking a motivated shift lead to supervise daily operations, ensure accurate food preparation, and deliver timely service to guests. You will oversee opening and closing duties, delegate tasks, train new staff, handle cash, and maintain a clean, welcoming front of house in accordance with health guidelines.

The role requires leadership, reliability, and excellent customer service, with movement between the kitchen and dining area to support team and ensure guest

Qualifications

• Must obtain food handler certification.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes.
• Experience using a POS system and handling cash.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to ensure accurate food preparation and timely service.
• Oversee shifts, delegate tasks, and manage break schedules.
• Greet customers, resolve issues politely, and ensure satisfaction.
• Accept deliveries and monitor inventory and reorder needs.
• Open/close store, maintain cleanliness, and stock supplies.
• Train new hires and participate in interviews when needed.
• Communicate with managers about scheduling and performance.
• Follow sanitation guidelines and safety procedures.
