Job summary

Vitality Bowls is seeking a proactive Restaurant Lead to manage daily operations, ensure accurate food preparation, and deliver timely service to customers. You will supervise shifts, delegate tasks, train staff, and uphold quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include handling deliveries, managing inventory, cash and POS procedures, and maintaining a clean front of house and kitchen. A positive attitude and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Become food certified.
• Must be able to stand long periods, lift moderately, move quickly, and have urgency.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Demonstrate leadership abilities and positive attitude.
• Ability to work well with others and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team, ensuring food is prepared accurately and served promptly.
• Manage shifts and delegate tasks to staff.
• Provide exemplary knowledge and customer service.
• Handle upset customers politely and resolve issues.
• Accept deliveries and ensure accuracy, issue refunds if needed.
• Communicate inventory status with managers/owners.
• Check daily petty cash and manage bank change.
• Restock the register and maintain correct change.
• Communicate about staff performance and scheduling.
• Attend management meetings and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and safety.
• Assist with interviews, training, and performance evaluations.
• Explain health benefits of ingredients to customers.
• Keep front lobby and outside area clean and maintained.
• Assist and ring up guests, answer calls, and take orders.
• Follow recipes, prepare food timely and sanitary.
• Stock and rotate food, adhere to safety procedures.
• Track food quality and support cost-cutting measures.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure timely orders.
