Job summary

El Pollo Loco in Red Bluff, CA is seeking a Shift Leader who will guide a team to deliver fast, friendly service and fire-grilled experiences that keep guests coming back.

You’ll manage opening and closing procedures, supervise crew tasks, ensure safety and QSC standards, train staff, handle cash deposits, and uphold EPL procedures while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction on every shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be certified on EPL SPECS or have 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience.
• Must pass EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) after hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations, manage opening/closing procedures and inventory.
• Ensure service speed and customer satisfaction, maintain cleanliness and QSC standards.
• Assign tasks, manage break schedules, adjust staffing based on volume.
• Train team on new products and procedures.
• Handle cash deposits, audits, and compliance during shifts.
• Greet customers and assist with orders to ensure a positive experience.
