Job summary

El Pollo Loco in Redding, CA is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. You will guide the team to deliver fast, friendly service while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and some supervisory experience, with EPL certifications or ability to complete the EPL Food Safety Audit after hire. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be EPL SPECS certified or have 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience and pass the EPL Food Safety Audit after hire.
• Ability to train and support team on new products and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage opening and closing procedures and coordinate crew tasks.
• Maintain customer service and speed of service to meet goals.
• Monitor safety, cleanliness, and QSC standards during shifts.
• Adjust staffing based on sales and assist with cash handling and deposits.
• Greet customers and assist with orders to ensure satisfaction.
