El Pollo Loco in Santa Ana is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. You will lead a team to deliver fast, friendly service while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role involves opening/closing procedures, inventory checks, and ensuring adherence to EPL policies. You will train staff on new products, manage break schedules, and oversee cash handling and deposits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1+ years of restaurant supervisory experience and ability to pass EPL Food Safety Audit after hire.
• Certified on EPL SPECS positions or ability to obtain certification as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee opening/closing procedures and security during shifts.
• Maintain service speed and cleanliness to meet QA standards (QSC).
• Allocate tasks, manage breaks, and adjust staffing to sales volume.
• Train teammates on new products and procedures.
• Handle cash, deposits, and shift-related financial controls.
• Ensure a warm, friendly customer experience and address guest needs.
