Job summary

Jersey Mike's Downtown is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations, coach team members, and deliver the Sub Above guest experience. You will lead by example, ensure food quality and safety, manage opening and closing duties, and support the General Manager and Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during assigned shifts with positive leadership and service.
• Deliver outstanding guest experience while every customer receives a Sub Above.
• Prepare fresh subs to Jersey Mike's standards.
• Coach, support, and motivate Crew Members.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain a clean, food-safe environment.
• Monitor food quality and operational standards.
• Manage shift execution, including opening and closing duties.
• Assist with inventory, product rotation, and waste reduction.
• Handle customer questions and resolve concerns.
• Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations.
