Jersey Mike's Subs seeks a Shift Leader to support the management team in running a busy location. You will coach staff, ensure high quality food, and uphold the Jersey Mike’s guest experience with strong leadership and a sense of urgency.

Role includes cash handling, shift supervision, and ensuring cleanliness. Requires 18+ and Serve Safe certification; 1 year QSR experience preferred. Competitive benefit culture and team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year QSR experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer.
• Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coach staff to deliver great customer service.
• Produce high quality food.
• Deliver the Jersey Mike’s experience.
• Cash handling and POS accuracy.
• Follow LMS Training Program and develop others.
• Enforce policies and procedures.
• Assist in local and national marketing initiatives.
• Build sales and drive guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Certify in all four restaurant positions.
• Lead by example with communication and urgency.
• Open and close the store and manage shift tasks.
• Know how to bake bread and perform prep.
• Supervise a crew of 2–5 people.
