Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to support management in running a Jersey Mike's location. You will coach the staff, ensure high-quality food, and deliver the Jersey Mike's experience with a strong customer focus.

Responsibilities include cash handling, staff development, enforcing policies, and contributing to local marketing initiatives. You will lead a small crew, open/close duties, and ensure cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler required or preferred.
• 1 year QSR experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Coach staff to deliver amazing customer service.
• Produce high quality food and maintain Jersey Mike's standards.
• Deliver the Jersey Mike's experience to customers.
• Operate cash handling and register procedures.
• Follow the Learning Management System training program.
• Develop others for career growth; lead by example.
• Enforce policies and procedures; participate in local marketing.
• Build sales and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Hold and rotate responsibilities (Key Holder); open/close duties.
• Proficient in slicing and bread preparation; manage 2-5 crew members.
