Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs #42049 is seeking a Shift Leader to help run day-to-day restaurant operations and deliver the high standards our guests expect. You will lead by example, coach teammates, and ensure a positive, fast-paced dining environment.

You will help prepare fresh subs, maintain food safety, and support management in achieving outstanding guest experiences. This role offers growth opportunities within a team-driven culture and local community involvement.

Qualifications

• Restaurant or customer service leadership experience.
• Availability for flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food safety certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during shifts with positive leadership and customer service.
• Deliver the guest experience with a 'Sub Above' standard.
• Prepare fresh subs per Jersey Mike's standards.
• Coach and motivate crew members.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain a clean, food-safe environment.
• Manage shift execution including opening/closing.
• Assist with inventory and minimize waste.
• Support GM and ASM in daily operations.
