Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a Part Time Shift Leader in Fulshear, TX, to oversee shifts and develop associates while delivering outstanding product quality and service. The role includes managing costs and driving sales in a fast-paced environment.

You must be 18+, have supervisory experience in food service, pass food safety requirements, and communicate effectively. A friendly, customer-first mindset and stamina for busy kitchens are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred
• Pass and obtain a Food Safety Certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-first mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand/walk 8-9 hours; lift up to 50 pounds
• Knife skills are a big plus
• Illinois applicants must become food safety certified within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks while giving feedback
• Ensure security procedures are followed
• Maintain back-of-house procedural standards
• Count drawers and handle cash according to procedures
• Prepare finished products efficiently
• Maintain health and safety standards
• Restock food line, chips and cooler
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash
• Operate cash register and balance cash
• Handle customer complaints and issues
• Perform other duties as assigned
