Potbelly Sandwich Works is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise and develop associates, ensure quality, and manage costs during shifts in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and teamwork in a high-energy setting.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in food service or retail.
• Must meet state Food Safety requirements and obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts, assign tasks, and provide feedback.
• Ensure security procedures are followed and back-of-house standards met.
• Count drawers and handle cash following procedures.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, and related items efficiently.
• Adhere to health and safety standards for food and cleanliness.
• Restock food lines, chips and coolers.
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils.
• Operate cash register and balance cash in till.
• Effectively address customer complaints.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
