Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a Part Time Shift Leader for Grand Prairie, TX. You will lead shifts, supervise associates, and ensure top-notch product quality and service in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with 1 year of supervisory experience preferred, and must obtain a Food Safety Certification. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and the ability to handle allergens and high-pressure situations are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Must pass and obtain a Food Safety Certification.
• Able to stand/walk 8–9 hours; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members on shifts and assign tasks while providing feedback.
• Ensure security procedures are followed and back-of-house standards are met.
• Count drawers and follow cash handling procedures; operate cash register.
• Prepare and serve quality finished products and maintain health and safety standards.
• Restock food lines and maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and floors.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and support a fast-paced service.
