Potbelly Sandwich Works in the United States is hiring a Shift Leader to manage and develop associates, ensure product quality and customer service, and control costs during each shift.

This role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting, adherence to food safety, excellent communication, and the ability to walk/stand 8-9 hours; benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid parental leave, 401(k) with company match, and flexible schedules.

Formación

• 1 year supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment preferred
• You must pass and obtain a Food Safety Certification
• Able to stand/walk for 8-9 hours
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Friendly, customer-first mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

Responsabilidades

• Lead team members on shifts, assign tasks, and provide feedback
• Ensure security procedures are followed
• Maintain back-of-house standards and health and safety
• Count drawers and follow cash handling procedures
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream) efficiently
• Handle customer complaints/issues and assist as needed
• Restock food line, chips and cooler
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils
