Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Mound, MN is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the cafe during the shift in partnership with the GM. You will ensure brand standards, guest connections, and smooth operations.

You will lead a team with enthusiasm, train new members, manage cash and inventory, and help optimize sales while keeping the store clean and welcoming. This role requires 18+, 6 months leadership, and flexible availability, with pay ranging 12.75–21.25 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a leadership role.
• Flexible availability: may be required to work different days, times, or shifts.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations and ensure brand standards.
• Lead team with energy and engagement to Make Fun Happen.
• Drive sales while managing waste and maintaining a clean, welcoming cafe.
• Coordinate deployment and roles on shift to keep movement smooth.
• Coach and train team members on responsibilities and products.
• Handle administrative tasks including deposits, inventory, and orders.
• Ensure safety, cash handling, and SOP compliance.
• Support the General Manager or Assistant GM and foster inclusive culture.
