Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Brooklyn Center, MN is hiring a Shift Leader to manage the coffeehouse in partnership with the GM/ASM. You will lead shifts, ensure brand standards, clean store operation, and guest connections while driving sales and maintaining quality and safety.

Qualifications

6+ months in a leadership role or trained to take on Shift Leader responsibilities.
Shift Leaders may be required to work different days, times, or shifts as business needs change.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates mastery of team member responsibilities with confidence and excellence.
Leads shifts while maintaining energy, engagement, and shift alignment.
Optimizes product sales, manages waste, and maintains an inviting coffeehouse environment.
Knows the day’s deployment and roles, communicating clearly on the floor.
Delegates objectives and tasks to match shift priorities.
Owns the shift and ensures a smooth hand-off to the next shift.
Upholds SOPs, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Trains teammates on responsibilities, product knowledge, and promotions.
Performs administrative tasks such as deposits, inventory, and orders.
Develops Team Members through coaching and feedback.
