Job summary

Zax LLC is seeking a Shift Leader for its Zaxbys location in Statesboro, Georgia. The role leads product, process, and people to run a shift, with supervisory and decision‑making authority to assign tasks and address guest concerns.

You will train and coach team members, drive guest satisfaction, manage opening/closing, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with the management team to hit daily goals. This position offers opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits as described

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Part‑time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week
• Full‑time: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week
• Successful completion of background check
• Demonstrates leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
• Follows company standards and local laws with regards to employee time punches
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Technological savvy; knowledge of required company software and tools
• Strong problem‑solving skills
• Ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively
• Conflict resolution skills
• Ability to make sound judgements and decisions which align with company standards and values
• Servant leader mindset
• Leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of high-performance and train and coach team members to meet all company standards
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members and communicate performance concerns to your General Manager
• Prioritize the guest and team member experience and resolve complaints and concerns in a friendly and respectful manner
• Delegate tasks to team members and supervise performance during a shift
• Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with all Zaxby’s Franchising LLC and Zax LLC guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld
