Jersey Mike’s Subs in Starkville, MS is seeking an Experienced Shift Leader for our day shift. This role requires a dependable restaurant professional who can lead a team, deliver friendly service, and keep a fast-paced operation running smoothly.

You will coach team members, ensure products meet Jersey Mike’s standards, manage opening/closing duties, and assist with cash handling and daily operations. Previous restaurant leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have restaurant experience.
• Previous shift leader or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members during daily shifts.
• Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service.

• Assign tasks and keep the team productive.
• Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe restaurant.
• Handle opening and/or closing shift responsibilities.
• Assist with cash handling and register procedures.
• Monitor food quality, portioning, and freshness.
• Help train and develop team members.
• Address customer concerns professionally.
• Support management with inventory and daily operations.
