Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to support the store management team in running a fast-paced Jersey Mike's location. You will coach staff to deliver outstanding customer service, ensure high quality food, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area with a strong team focus.

Responsibilities include cash handling, opening and closing duties, enforcing policies, and leading a crew of 2–5 people.

Qualifications

• Education: High school degree or equivalent.
• 1 Year QSR experience preferred.
• Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer

Responsibilities

• Coaching the staff to deliver amazing customer service.
• Producing high quality food.
• Delivering the Jersey Mike’s experience.
• Cash handling.
• Following the Learning Management System Training Program.
• Developing others for career growth; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Participating in local marketing initiatives and building sales.
• Maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation practices in the establishment.
• Being certified in all four positions of the restaurant.
• Opening and closing duties; interface with customers for an exceptional experience.
