Qualifications

• Restaurant experience is required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Dependable and able to work scheduled shifts consistently.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to coach and hold team members accountable.
• Understand the importance of food safety and restaurant cleanliness.
• Able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members during daily shifts.
• Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service.
• Ensure sandwiches and other items meet Jersey Mike’s standards.
• Assign tasks and keep team productive.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe restaurant.
• Handle opening and/or closing shift responsibilities.
• Assist with cash handling and register procedures.
• Monitor food quality, portioning, and freshness.
• Help train and develop new and existing team members.
• Handle customer concerns professionally.
• Support management with inventory, prep, and daily operations.
• Set the example for teamwork, urgency, cleanliness, and hospitality.
