El Pollo Loco in Santa Ana is seeking a Shift Leader to manage daily restaurant operations during shifts and act in the absence of the GM. You will lead the crew, ensure food safety and customer satisfaction, and coordinate tasks for opening, closing, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be certified on EPL SPECS positions or have 1+ year supervisory experience.
• Pass EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) after hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage opening and closing procedures and inventory records.
• Ensure service speed, cleanliness, and safety per standards.
• Prioritize tasks, adjust staffing by sales, and supervise breaks.
• Train team on new products and procedures.
• Handle cash, deposits, and audits during shift.
• Greet customers and assist with orders to meet expectations.
