Velvet Taco is hiring a Shift Leader to manage hourly team members and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner. You will execute opening, mid, and closing duties, handle cash operations, and support inventory while maintaining food safety and a welcoming atmosphere.

Applicants should have 2 years of supervisory restaurant experience, be 21+, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Health benefits and other perks are available to both full- and part-time staff.

Competenze

• 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader/Supervisor in a restaurant environment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Regularly exposed to heat and/or humid conditions.
• Stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 25 pounds as required.
• Food Handler's Certification and Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification preferred.
• Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision required.

Mansioni

• Manages hourly team members and interacts with guests in a friendly, professional way.
• Executes opening, mid, and closing duties daily following procedures.
• Handle guest concerns and guide to positive resolution.
• Cash-handling, setup POS drawers, perform comps/voids, and manage deposits.
• Lead by example, motivate others to follow procedures and deliver a great guest experience.
• De-escalate issues between team members and maintain a respectful environment.
• Support management with inventory processes.
• Maintain high food safety standards and keep the restaurant clean and organized.
• Oversee daily prep list and approve prepped items to specs and flavors.
