Job summary

Velvet Taco is hiring a Shift Leader/Supervisor to drive guest experience in a fast-paced restaurant. You will lead hourly team members, execute opening, mid and closing duties, and resolve guest concerns with professionalism.

The role requires 2 years of supervisory restaurant experience, ability to multitask, and a commitment to food safety and operational standards. Certifications in Food Handling and Alcohol Service are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader/Supervisor in a restaurant environment.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possesses a Food Handler's Certification.
• Possesses an Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages hourly team members and interacts with guests in a friendly, professional, and responsive way.
• Executes opening, mid, and closing duties daily following standards and recipes.
• Handles guest concerns and guides to positive resolutions.
• Cash handling, setting up POS, performing comps/voids, managing deposits.
• Maintains food safety, line checks, and shelf/storage/expiration date checks.
• Signs off on daily prep items to ensure adherence to specs and flavor profiles.
