Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to support the management team in running a busy location. You will coach staff to deliver exceptional customer service, produce high quality food, and help deliver the Jersey Mike’s experience while handling cash and training new team members.

We expect you to lead by example in quality, interaction, and maintaining a clean, well-presented store. You’ll enforce policies, participate in local marketing initiatives, and help develop others for career

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent required.
1 Year QSR experience preferred.
Serve Safe Certification - Food Handler required.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Coaching the staff to deliver amazing customer service.
Producing high quality food.
Delivering the Jersey Mike’s experience.
Cash handling.
Following the Learning Management System Training Program.
Developing others for career growth.
Enforcing policies and procedures.
Participating in local and national marketing initiatives.
Building sales.
Maintaining the cleanliness and proper sanitation practices in the establishment.
Being certified in all four positions of the restaurant.
Effective communication; sense of urgency.
Lead by example in terms of quality and service; manage 2–5 crew.
