Job summary

Jersey Mike's Subs is seeking a Shift Leader to support the management team in running the store. You will coach staff, ensure high-quality food, and uphold Jersey Mike’s service standards while managing cash and enforcing policies.

You will maintain cleanliness, lead a crew of 2–5 people, and ensure open/close procedures with urgency and pride in the brand. Must be able to slice and bake bread as part of daily prep.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older to operate the slicer.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coach staff to deliver amazing customer service.
• Produce high quality food.
• Deliver the Jersey Mike’s experience.
• Cash handling.
• Follow the Learning Management System Training Program.
• Enforce policies and procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation practices in the establishment.
• Be certified in all four positions of the restaurant.
• Effective communication.
• Having a sense of urgency.
• Open and/or close the store; lead by example in quality and service.
• Know how to bake bread and perform all prep.
• Manage and lead crew of 2 to 5 people.
• Proficient in slicing.
