Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader to assist the Assistant Manager and General Manager in delivering outstanding hospitality, safety and efficiency during every shift. You will ensure team members perform their duties, meet standards, and respond to guest needs with poise.

Responsibilities include supervising staffing, training team members, enforcing quality and cleanliness, and helping maximize sales while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts.
• Must have reliable transportation and method of communication with restaurant (i.e. phone or email).

Responsibilities

• Take necessary action to ensure all hospitality service is outstanding; anticipates and exceeds guest needs; handles situations promptly.
• Path the restaurant to monitor all aspects of operation; take initiative to correct problem areas immediately.
• Enforce and maintain all quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor staffing levels and labor costs.
• Create a friendly atmosphere for Team Members and Guests.
• Train and supervise Team Members.
• Support efforts to maximize sales and profits and minimize controllable costs.
• Plan, organize, and implement all operational routines during your shift.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship with management and team members.
• Ensure sanitation, safety and security policies are observed and enforced.
• Maintain professional appearance and display professionalism at all times.
