Job summary

Velvet Taco in Dallas, TX is seeking a Shift Leader/Supervisor to manage hourly team members and ensure a high-quality guest experience. You will execute opening and closing duties, handle guest concerns, and oversee POS transactions with accuracy.

You should have at least 2 years of supervisory restaurant experience, be 21+, and hold Food Handler's and Alcohol Service certifications. This on-site role includes opportunities to lead, train, and contribute to a fast-paced, culture-driven team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of shift leadership/supervisor experience in a restaurant.
• 21 years of age or older and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler's Certification and Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification required.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage hourly team members and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Execute opening, mid, and closing duties per Velvet Taco procedures.
• Handle guest concerns and guide to positive resolutions.
• Cash-handling, set up POS, perform comps and deposits during shifts.
• Lead by example, motivate team to follow procedures with urgency.
• De-escalate conflicts and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Support inventory process and keep food safety a priority.
• Maintain prep lists and verify items meet specifications.
