Job summary

Velvet Taco is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee hourly team members and ensure a welcoming guest experience in our fast-paced, casual environment.

You will open, mid, and close shifts, handle guest concerns, manage cash and POS operations, and assist with inventory and prep lists while upholding food safety standards. Must be 21+, with relevant certifications and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader/Supervisor in a Restaurant Environment.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler's Certification and Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees opening, mid, and closing duties.
• Handles guest concerns and guides to positive resolutions.
• De-escalates issues between team members and maintains calm.
• Assists with inventory process and prep lists.
• Ensures food safety through line checks and proper storage.
