Marco’s Pizza is seeking a dedicated Shift Manager in Berea, OH to oversee daily store operations and guide team members toward exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise, mentor, and participate in food preparation, while ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency during each shift.

The role emphasizes leadership, reliable communication with staff and guests, and adherence to hygiene standards in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Join a team that values quality and community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required food handler certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store crew across all workstations during shifts.
• Perform crew tasks when needed including makeline, oven monitoring, packaging.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with Drivers and Manager for deliveries.
• Manage cash handling procedures and balance registers.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance.
• Assist with training new team members and set clear expectations.
• Handle shift-related issues with professionalism and strong problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure smooth operations.
• Multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment while ensuring guest experience.
