Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick in Pflugerville, TX is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations during the assigned shift, manage staff, safeguard guest experience, uphold food quality, and support the restaurant’s leadership team.

You will lead by example, train teammates, monitor service, ensure safety and cleanliness, and help meet financial goals. 18+ age, restaurant supervisory experience preferred, and ability to work flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; some college coursework in hospitality or business management is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer-facing restaurant experience required.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain required food handler’s certification for their state/local area.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to fluently speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, and manage restaurant staff during the shift.
• Train new employees in procedures, guest experience, and company standards.
• Monitor employee performance and provide balanced feedback.
• Lead shifts by assigning tasks, managing breaks, and ensuring smooth hand-offs between shifts.
• Set a positive example through hustle, high standards, and a guest-first attitude.
• Coach and support team members in real time to improve speed, service, and execution.
• Ensure restaurant is staffed by executing schedule created by RGM.
• Ensure the restaurant is clean, stocked, and operational during all hours of business.
• Enforce company policies and ensure adherence to them, including uniform standards and health & safety regulations.
