Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick Evans is seeking a Team Leader to assist the GM and AM in daily restaurant operations, delivering superb guest experiences while guiding shifts and maintaining a positive, productive work environment.

You will oversee guest service, shift management, ensure food safety, train team members, uphold company procedures, and support scheduling, records, and promotions to help achieve financial goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.
• Must be able to multitask effectively during shifts.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality; reliability.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Successful completion of formal Shift Leader classes provided by Corporate Training Department.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager and Assistant Manager in daily restaurant operations within the budget.
• Ensure compliance with food standards, quality, and handling procedures.
• Follow restaurant procedures in dining room, service area and kitchen.
• Train and coach hourly team members during shifts.
• Provide the highest level of hospitality and guest service at all times.
• Coach team members during shifts as needed.
• Maintain personnel records, team member schedules and reports.
• Prepare and maintain administrative and financial records as directed by GM.
• Present promotions and marketing plans according to company procedures during shifts.
• Maintain restaurant hours and operations during shifts.
• Comply with safety and sanitation procedures and regulations.
• Make decisions on staffing, discipline, and shift execution; defer major hiring/terminations beyond normal operations to GM/AM.
