Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise the restaurant during each shift, coach staff and ensure guest satisfaction. You will train new team members, enforce standards, manage tasks, and help maintain health, safety, and quality across FOH and back-of-house operations.

The role emphasizes leadership development, teamwork, and accountability in a fast-paced environment with a focus on guest experience and brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing restaurant experience.
• 1 year supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Willing to obtain state/local food handler certification.
• Basic computer skills required.
• English fluency required.
• Clear background check required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving and quick decision-making.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health/food safety and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, and manage staff during the shift.
• Train new employees on procedures, guest experience, and standards.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Lead shifts with task assignments and smooth hand-offs.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and operational restaurant.
• Enforce policies, uniforms, and safety regulations.
