Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick is hiring a Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations on a shift basis, ensuring guest satisfaction and food quality. This role emphasizes leadership, training, and maintaining brand standards while supporting the management team.

The position offers an hourly wage and opportunities to grow into higher-level management, with a focus on team development and operational excellence across FOH and back-of-house areas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer-facing restaurant experience.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Must obtain state/local food handler certification.
• Must be able to fluently speak and understand English.
• Must pass a background check.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage restaurant staff during the shift.
• Train new employees on procedures and brand standards.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Lead shifts and ensure smooth hand-offs between shifts.
• Maintain guest experience and safety.
• Oversee food preparation, service delivery, and cleanliness.
• Manage cash handling and POS reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory and ordering to avoid shortages.
