Job summary

Church's Texas Chicken is seeking a Shift Leader to coach and develop team members on shift, ensuring an outstanding customer experience. You will enforce policies, manage opening/closing tasks, monitor cash handling, and coordinate with the Restaurant General Manager to maintain quality and safety standards.

The role requires basic high school education, and training in food safety is encouraged to support consistent service and product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is recommended.
• ServSafe food safety training is highly recommended.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure prompt, friendly customer service.
• Ensure menu products are prepared and served per standards.
• Oversee shift assignments and activities for team members.
• Assist team members to prepare quality products and maintain cleanliness.
• Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
• Complete shift reports, cash handling, and inventory documentation.
• Ensure on-time attendance and carry out other duties as assigned.
