Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is hiring a Shift Leader in Ohio for a full‑time, 37–40 hour work week across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. The role emphasizes delivering the Hi Five Guest Experience, supervising staff, and ensuring safe, efficient store operations.

The Shift Leader will follow company policies, manage cash and sales transactions (including alcohol/tobacco), greet guests, and maintain inventory and cleanliness while upholding standards and laws.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified under state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco.
• Ability to greet Guests and communicate in English.
• Ability to operate POS system and gas console.
• Ability to move merchandise and lift up to 10 pounds.
• Retail/food-service experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience to every Guest, greeting them warmly and ensuring they leave satisfied.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes, sundaes, cones, and other dip cabinet items.
• Operate POS system and gas console, process transactions, and handle cash and coupons.
• Stock shelves, milk boxes, freezers, and ensure proper rotation and cleanliness.
• Maintain store security, manage cash drops, and follow tobacco/alcohol management procedures.
• Keep the store and parking lot clean and safe; monitor equipment temperatures.
• Accurately complete time records and other required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
