Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience and supervise associates during the shift. You will ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment while handling cash and processing transactions.

The role requires knowledge of POS and gas systems, ability to communicate in English, and adherence to company policies and state laws. Flexibility to work various shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Shift Leaders must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature Hi Five Guest Experience; greet guests warmly and ensure the store is ready for guests at all times.
• Assist with shakes and ice cream preparation and related products.
• Efficiently operate the POS system and gas console; handle transactions and payments accurately.
• Stock shelves and ensure dip cabinet and equipment are clean and presentable.
• Maintain store safety, monitor cash drops and follow security procedures.
• Perform maintenance to keep store and parking lot clean and safe.
• Accurately complete time records and customer documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
