Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader to ensure top-notch guest service and smooth shift operations. You will lead a team, manage cash transactions and maintain safety and cleanliness across the store.

The role emphasizes following the Hi Five Guest Experience, handling daily tasks from order prep to stock rotation, and supporting management. Prioritize accuracy, compliance, and a friendly customer approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified to conduct all sales, including alcohol and tobacco.
• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate with guests.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle currency accurately.
• Must follow company policies and comply with laws and regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience and greet guests warmly.
• Assist with shakes, cones, sundaes, sodas and other dipside items.
• Operate POS and gas console, process transactions and make change.
• Stock shelves, chillers and dip cabinets; rotate stock and check dates.
• Maintain store cleanliness and monitor equipment temperatures.
• Complete time records and other reporting as assigned by management.
• Support management and other associates during shifts.
