Job summary

Smashburger in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Shift Leader to champion better burgers and a great guest experience. You will report to the Restaurant General Manager and lead both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

The role requires strong communication, people management, and hands-on training to onboard new hires, manage labor and inventory, and uphold Smashburger standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of both FOH & BOH employees
• Promote a fun and positive work environment
• Provide initial and ongoing training to all employees within the unit utilizing SmashConnect, LMS, and 4 step method of training
• Follow COGS management procedures for food ordering and inventory
• Follow company cash policies to ensure minimal losses through theft or shortages
• Manage daily labor
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
