Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader to provide outstanding guest service while leading daily operations. You will supervise staff on shifts, ensure compliance with safety and company policies, and maintain the Hi Five Guest Experience.

The role requires ability to perform cash handling, assist customers, and manage shift tasks from opening to closing, including alcohol and tobacco sales per state law. Training provided; wage range shown in the Pay Range.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified under state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco.
• Ability to provide excellent guest service following The Hi Five Guest Experience.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly and understand store operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm, authentic hello and ensure the store is ready for Guests.
• Prepare shakes, malts, cups/cones of ice cream/yogurt, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed items.
• Operate POS and gas console, process transactions and handle payments and coupons.
• Stock shelves and display areas, keep dip cabinet full and rotate stock.
• Maintain store security, cash drops, and follow tobacco/alcohol procedures.
• Ensure the store and parking lot are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Accurately complete time records and required documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Communicate effectively in spoken English.
