Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee FOH and BOH functions during each shift, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient operations. You will work with the management team to manage food and labor costs, meet sales targets, and uphold health and safety standards.

The role requires leadership, English proficiency, and prior supervisory experience in food service, with a focus on training, teamwork, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a related food-service management role or 2 years in other food-service positions.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Flexible, full-time availability and ability to travel for meetings/training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FOH & BOH shift operations to ensure smooth service.
• Lead and develop FOH staff to meet service standards.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring of team members.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and safety compliance.
• Control labor costs and help meet sales goals.
• Open and close restaurant using proper checklists.
• Prepare deposits and reconcile cash from shifts.
• Support other positions as needed by business needs.
