Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to food safety standards. You will work with the management team to control costs, meet sales goals, and develop a high-performing crew.

The role requires leadership, guest service excellence, and the ability to recruit, train, and manage a team within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of management experience preferred, or 2 years in food service
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required

Responsibilities

• Oversee all FOH & BOH functions for smooth shift
• Assist in recruiting and hiring FOH staff
• Train and develop FOH staff to meet service standards
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Monitor food and labor costs and help meet targets
• Assist in opening/closing procedures and cash handling
