Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring a smooth shift and exceptional guest experience. You’ll collaborate with management to control costs, meet targets, and uphold safety standards.

You will recruit and train FOH staff, develop team members, and drive guest satisfaction through effective problem-solving and leadership. A fast-paced kitchen environment awaits with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in food service management or 2 years in other food service roles.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Food Manager Certification and ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule.
• Read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FOH and BOH operations during a shift and ensure smooth service.
• Greet guests and handle requests or complaints with professionalism.
• Recruit, hire, and train FOH staff; monitor performance and standards.
• Control food and labor costs and support achievement of sales goals.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in opening/closing the restaurant and manage deposits as needed.
• Support other positions as business needs require.
