Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is hiring a Shift Leader to oversee all FOH and BOH functions, ensuring a smooth shift and exceptional guest experience. You will work with management to manage food and labor costs, meet sales goals, and uphold health and safety standards.

The role requires leadership, strong guest service, and the ability to train and supervise staff while maintaining quality, speed, and accuracy during busy periods.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in related food service management position preferred
• or 2 years of experience in other food service position
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certification required
• Flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs
• Read, write and communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with a polite, friendly manner
• Assist in recruiting and developing FOH staff
• Train FOH staff to meet customer service standards
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Oversee opening and closing, cash handling, and deposits
• Support FOH and BOH operations to maximize sales and control costs
• Monitor labor costs and adherence to labor laws
• Other duties as assigned by General Manager
