Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee FOH and BOH during a shift, helping maintain service quality and profitability. You will support the management team in controlling costs, training staff, and ensuring health and safety standards are followed.

You will lead by example, greet guests, resolve issues, and contribute to a positive, high-performing team environment with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service management preferred (1 year) or 2 years in another food service role.
• Food safety knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• English proficiency for reading, writing, and communicating with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a polite, friendly manner.
• Handle guest requests and complaints.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring FOH staff.
• Train and develop FOH staff to meet customer service standards.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards are followed.
• Oversee daily restaurant shift operations.
• Help optimize labor and food costs.
• Assist in opening and closing with checklists.
